The Hartnell College men's basketball team got off to a sluggish start Wednesday night in the first half against Skyline College. But they came out strong in the second half to win 68-52, improving their record to 5-1.
They remain ranked in the top 10 in Northern California and the top 20 in the state.
The Trojans held a 31-26 advantage over the Panthers at the end of the first half. In the second half, Hartnell went on a 14-4 run. Blake had 28 points and Burgon finished with 21 points and 10 boards and Winn totaled four points. Blake is currently 2nd in leading by average points in the conference. They play Foothill College on the 1st of December.

Hartnell vs. Merced (4-1)
Hartnell played Merced College on the 21st at 7 p.m. and won 60 -58 with Blake hitting the 3 pointer to tie the game and the lay up to win. He ended up having 17 points. Hartnell plays again Wednesday the 25th against Skyline College at home at 5 p.m.
